Fleck works on Internet Explorer now!
Tonight Arjen gave us the green light to open Fleck for Internet Explorer.
We have been testing Fleck on Internet Explorer for a while now and it looks good. As you might know Internet Explorer doesn’t support transparant PNGs which means that I had to redesign and redraw most of the images for Explorer. Arjen had to rewrite a lot of functions and javascript and then there were lots of CSS issues too. But everything seems fine now.
If you use Internet Explorer please give Fleck a try and don’t hesitate to contact us with questions or suggestions. We like feedback!

What kind of error did you get?

Tried it as well, it didn’t seem to do anything. Don’t know how other extensions work but it didn’t give any feedback on if it was installed or how to activate it. Found it in the ‘Extra’ menu though.
But when I try adding a note or bullet it doesn’t ahow any background so I’m looking at a lot of scrollbars right now with text straight over text.
Got PC IE 6.0.2900.2180, will email you a prtsc.
I think feedback after installing is essential though!

It works fine for me. I can make notes on this page and share them with others. No problemo. Some CSS problems once in a while but nothing big.
I didn’t get feedback after installing the plugin, but I have a yellow button in my toolbar.
I like it! Looking forward to new features

We are also interested in CSS problems. even if they are small. The issue Maarten reported is something that happens sometimes when the Fleck images don’t load fast enough. We are fixing that today too.

Hi
Congratulation on this great release. I tried testing it for my website and it is working perfectly fine.
Feature I like the most is the maintenance of history instead of displaying clutter all over the website.
It had been better if you had sent an update mail to all the users.
Thanks for the extension. Keep up the good work.

We could have emailed to all users only if we would have asked them all to give us their emailaddress. But because Fleck offers zero friction web annotation (that is what Techcrunch said) we don’t do that. And most people don’t like to be emailed like that. But feel free to email all your friends about it!
